This wooden duck was originally designed in 1959 by the Danish architect, Hans Bolling. He was inspired by a policeman's rescue of a family of ducks found on the streets of Copenhagen.
The figurines come in the form of a Duck and Ducklings measuring at 18cm and 9cm in height respectively . They are handmade using Teak wood with a movable head to give them a realistic poise.
The Hans Bolling duck and duckling sit beautifully on shelves, tables and mantelpieces.
